Andrea Seelich is an architect and researcher specializing in penal architecture. Born in 1969 in Prague, she grew up in Washington D.C., Bern, and Vienna. She studied architecture in Prague, where her diploma thesis focused on the design of a correctional facility. At the Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes in Prague, she is responsible for coordinating international cooperation.
