Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik is an art historian, cultural manager and lecturer. She has been working at the International Cultural Centre in Kraków since 1996 and became its director in 2018. Her interests and research include: Central Europe as a cultural space, international cultural co-operation, cultural policy on both a national and European level, heritage management and heritage diplomacy.
She was the national coordinator of the European Year of Cultural Heritage in 2018, and is on the boards of various museums: the Museum of Photography in Kraków (MUFO), the Museum of Contemporary Art in Kraków (MOCAK) and the Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów. From 2022 she has been on the board of the International Association of Research Institutes in the History of Art (RIHA) network, and from 2023 she has been on the board of Europa Nostra.
