Routes of Liberation: European Legacies of the Second World War is the exceptional moving exhibition which is being organized by the European WW II Museum and its partners and will be touring Europe through the next two years.
The President of the European Parliament and Patron of the Liberation Route Europe Martin Schulz will officially open the exhibition which will take place on 13th February 2014 in European Parliament.
The exhibition is an international initiative and its aim is to keep and cultivate the mission of the Liberation Route Europe. It shows the reasons and long-lasting consequences of losing the freedom during the Second World War as well as it raises a question about keeping the freedom in the future.
The exhibition shows a multinational perspective on contemporary European history and to make it easier for the visitors it is translated into many foreign languages.
Amongst invited guests also Prof. Jan Rydel, Chairman of the Steering Committee and Rafał Rogulski, the Director of the Secretariate of European Network Remembrance and Solidarity will take part in the official opening of the exhibition.
