Abrogation of the National Legionary State (Romania)

The National Legionary State, a totalitarian fascist regime in Romania based on the political alliance between the General Ion Antonescu and the far-right Iron Guard, officially ended on 14 February 1941. The abrogation came as a consequence of the failed Legionary Rebellion and Bucharest pogrom (21-23 January 1941) when the Iron Guard attempted to seize full power.

General Antonescu remained in his role as Conducător of Romania and continued to be a close Hitler's ally.
