On 24 March, an official presentation of our exhibition 'After the Great War' took place in the German City of Science, Darmstadt.
The event brought together Mr. Jochen Partsch (Lord Mayor of Darmstadt), Prof. Dr. Peter Oliver Loew (Director of the Deutsches Polen-Institut), Mr. Rafał Rogulski (Director of the ENRS), Mr. Jakub Wawrzyniak (Consul General of Poland in Köln), Dr. Radu Florea (Consul General of Romania in Stuttgart), Mr. Norman Thatcher Scharpf (Principal Officer and Consul General at the U.S. Consulate General in Frankfurt) prof. Jan Rydel (Member of the ENRS Steering Committee), Dr. Burkhard Olschowsky (Board Member of the Foundation European Network Remembrance and Solidarity and research associate of the Bundesinstitut für Kultur und Geschichte der Deutschen im Östlichen Europa).
The presentation was followed by a discussion titled '1918-1923 / 2022 – challenges for order in Central and Eastern Europe'. You can watch it here
