Amendments to the Polish Constitution of '76

On 10 Feburary 1976, amendments to the Constitution of the People's Republic of Poland are passed. The changes included a mention of the leading role of the communist party and friendly relations with the Soviet Union. During the vote on the amendments, the Catholic deputy Stanisław Stomma was the only member of the Sejm to abstain.
