Ceaușescu's speech of 1968

On 21 August 1968, the communist leader of Romania, Nicolae Ceaușescu, gave his most famous speech as he condemned the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia. The public address was perceived as a gesture of disobiedience to the Soviate Union and made him extremely popular in Romania as a somewhat rebellious figure inside the Communist block.
