The Visegrád Group, also called the Visegrád Four, or V4 was established on 15 February 1991. It is an alliance of four Central European states: Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, for the purposes of strengthening their stability in the Central European region as well as advancing mutual cooperation in a number of fields, including military, economic and energy.
