How can talking about history make the world a safer place? The European Network Remembrance and Solidarity (ENRS), an international initiative promoting dialogue on Europe’s 20th-century history, seeks to answer this question through concrete action.
On Friday, 14 November 2025, Rafał Rogulski, Director of the ENRS, will give a lecture at the University of Gdańsk titled: “Historical Policy in the International Context – How It’s Done at the European Network Remembrance and Solidarity.”
When? Friday, 14 November 2025 at 11:30
Where? Auditorium 1.48, Faculty of History, University of Gdańsk
Rafał Rogulski has led the ENRS since 2010. With a background in cultural studies and political science, and extensive experience in cultural diplomacy and historical dialogue, he brings valuable insights into how institutions can foster international understanding through history.
The event is part of the “Friday at the Faculty of History” series – an initiative of the Faculty of History aimed at strengthening the academic community, encouraging cooperation (including international partnerships), and promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience.
