The year 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. For this occasion, the ENRS in cooperation with the Georg Eckert Institute for International Textbook Research will prepare 3 new educational infographics for teachers for use in a classroom.
Telling is not teaching and listening is not learning – we believe that usage of eye-catching materials will help students and teachers to understand the diversity and complexity of European history. That is why at our on-line platform Hi-story Lessons we offer a variety of educational materials, including static infographics which can be printed by teachers and used in a classroom.
Next year we will prepare 3 new infographics dedicated to the conferences of the 'Big Three'. The materials will depict not only the key circumstances of proceedings in Tehran, Yalta and Potsdam but also their impact on European political and territorial order as well as socio and economic consequences for the continent.
All the infographics will be translated into 6 languages: German, Hungarian, Romanian, Slovak, Czech and Polish.
The initiative is carried out by the ENRS in cooperation with the Georg Eckert Institute for International Textbook Research and funded by the German Federal Government Plenipotentiary for Culture and Media.
