The final presentation of “In Between – Neighbours Meet in the Borderlands” starts today in Berlin!

In only a few hours the participants of this year’s edition of the educational project “In Between?” will finally meet live for the first time to present the results of their research, conducted in the German, Polish, Slovak and Ukrainian borderland regions from 4 to 11 September 2021. The outcome of this year’s edition are podcasts about life in the borderlands, created by each group under the supervision of professional radio producers.

In the course of the next few days the members of the three teams will prepare a final photo and audio presentation, which will be discussed during a masterclass with our experts Mateusz Hartwich, Tibor Macak and Hanna Radziejowska. The official premiere of the podcasts will take place on Friday, during a closed event held at the headquarters of the Brandenburg State Representation at the Federal Government in Berlin. The podcasts will soon be available online on the ENRS website as well as Spotify and Simplecast platforms.

In Between? is an educational project initiated by the ENRS in April 2016. This year, the partners of the programme are: German War Graves Commission, Kreisau Initiative e.V., Zajezdnia History Center, “Remembrance and Future” Center in Wrocław and The Nation's Memory Institute (Slovakia). The project was co-financed from the Europeans for Peace fund of the Remembrance, Responsibility and Future Foundation (EVZ).
