Teachers representing 58 schools from 10 European Countries submitted their applications, from which we have selected four to take part in this year's Sound in the Silence project.
The schools participating in our project are as follows:

>> Irena Sendler Schule, Germany
>> Polish National Board of Education Highschool, Poland
>> Alytaus rajono Daugų Vlado Mirono Highschool, Lithuania
The teachers along with their students will spend nine days visiting Warsaw and exploring the history of the two Warsaw uprisings – Warsaw Ghetto uprising of 1943 and Warsaw Uprising of 1944. They will learn about their history, with a special attention given to the forms of resistance, and take part in interdisciplinary workshops.
