Wojciech Sikora, long-standing president of the Kultura Literary Institute Association, has died

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing away of Wojciech Sikora, a long-standing president of Stowarzyszenie Instytut Literacki Kultura  and Paris Kultura Foundation.

Wojciech Sikora was an activist of the democratic opposition in the communist-ruled Poland. After emigrating to France, he was an activist of émigré organisations in Paris. An editior, publicist, from 2000 to 2019 he held the position of the president of the Kultura Literary Institute Association, with which we've had the honour of collaborating on many occasions.
In his work, Mr Sikora was striving to preserve the remarkable heritage of the legendary 'Kultura Paryska' and its outstanding founder, Jerzy Giedroyc.

The funeral ceremony will take place on Thursday 18 August 2022 at 3 p.m. in the church of Le Mesnil le Roi near Paris.

We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.
