Call for Researchers: Arts and Power in the 20th Century

We are looking for researcher to join the curatorial team for our upcoming outdoor exhibition, “Arts and Power in the 20th Century.”

This exhibition, set to open in Autumn 2026, will explore the relationship between the arts and political power in East-Central Europe during the 20th century. It aims to illustrate how various political regimes utilized art for propaganda, as well as the strategies artists used to navigate and resist such pressures.

Researchers are needed to contribute to various aspects of the exhibition, including historical context, thematic development, and scenario writing. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of 20th-century East-Central European art and politics, a relevant doctoral degree or PhD candidacy, and proficiency in English.

This remote position offers flexible working hours, collaboration with international experts, and the opportunity to engage in meaningful historical research.

Applications, including a CV and motivation letter, are due by 10 June 2024.
