Three new experts from Poland have joined the assemblies of the European Network Remembrance and Solidarity (ENRS), each bringing a distinct perspective to the organisation's work.
Dr Łukasz Kamiński, Director of the Ossoliński National Institute, takes up a seat on the Academic Council. His scholarly background in 20th-century history and memory studies will be a valuable addition to the Council's work in guiding ENRS research and academic endeavours.
The Advisory Board gains two new voices: Karol Madaj of the Pilecki Institute and Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik of the International Cultural Centre in Kraków. Drawing on their experience in memory institutions, cultural policy, and public history, they will bring fresh perspectives to ENRS's strategic work and broader outreach efforts.
All three appointments are for a five-year term. ENRS sees the broadening of its assemblies as an essential part of its mission. Connecting scholars, cultural professionals, and memory practitioners from across Europe strengthens the network's capacity to engage meaningfully with the histories and legacies that continue to shape the continent today.
We look forward to working with our new members.
