The European Network Remembrance and Solidarity (ENRS) is pleased to announce the appointment of four distinguished experts to its assemblies.
The Academic Council welcomes Marína Zavacká and Martin Pekár. Both scholars bring extensive experience in the study of contemporary history, memory politics, and Central European transformations. Their expertise will further strengthen the Council’s role in shaping ENRS research and academic initiatives.
At the same time, the Advisory Board is joined by Oľga Gyárfášová and Martin Bútora. Their long-standing engagement in public life, civil society, and social research will provide valuable perspectives supporting ENRS strategic development and outreach.
The appointment of these new members reflects ENRS’s ongoing commitment to fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and enhancing cooperation across Europe. By bringing together leading historians, sociologists, and public intellectuals, ENRS continues to expand its network of expertise dedicated to the study of 20th-century history and remembrance.
We warmly welcome the new members and look forward to their contributions to ENRS activities.
